The Rock Bed and Breakfast in the Forest of Dean, is a former coaching Inn has provided accommodation in The Forest of Dean for over 300 years. With fantastic views from the garden over the Ruardean valley and the forest on the door step, walkers head out with one of our own walking guides to enjoy a day out. Then its back for a free soak in the hot tub to ease those muscles. Three of our rooms are dog friendly so your dog can enjoy the walks too (but not the hot tub!).
The modern contempory style rooms, are in a separate annex's to the owners accommodation, meaning you can come and go as you please. All rooms are ensuite with a generous hospitality tray and TV and individual thermostats to adjust the heating to you preference.
Walks start 30 paces from the door and the Rock produce their own walking and touring guides to the area. We have safe storage and washing facilities available if you bring your bike and many of the tracks in the forest are bike friendly.
The Rock provides you with a breakfast "to set you up for the Day" using locally sourced products where possible, as well as a range of home made vegetarian options.
For evening meals the nearest Pub is just under a mile away and you are always welcome to eat a take away in the breakfast room. Many Pubs are dog friendly too.

While rurally located the accommodation has excellent transport links and is equidistant between Coleford, Monmouth and Ross on Wye
