The house has a wealth of character and charm plus a fascinating history; the oldest part of the house is Georgian (1676) - not overly large but very spacious to feel relaxed and comfortable, and especially cosy during the autumn and winter months. In the spring/ summer you can relax in the interesting award winning garden or during autumn/winter with a log fire in the large lounge; as well as enjoy the elegant dining room. Catering can be pre-booked.
The ground floor Day Room can double up as a bedroom with its sofa bed. Attached is a small conservatory overlooking the garden. Alongside the Day Room is a large ensuite bath and wet room , a shower area and wall seat as well as a bath. Boot room to put footwear after a good walk. Walk Valley walk can start just at the back door
