Relax/Unwind in one of our four privately owned self catering cottages, each with their own unique appeal. The four cottages are situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Llangarron.

Please visit my own web site to the left of this page for more detailed information and photos.

Ideally situated in the Wye-Valley between the two historic market towns of Ross-on-Wye and  Monmouth to also visit Hereford with the famous Mappa Mundi housed in its Cathedral, or Abergavenny, the gateway to South Wales and the Brecon Beacons.

Also superbly situated for  The Forest of Dean, Symonds Yat, the beautiful Wye Valley,  Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Welsh Borders, Malvern Hills and of course all the superb countryside of the counties of not only Herefordshire, but neighbouring  Monmouthshire and Gloucestershire too.

Visitors will find details in each property outlining walks which can be enjoyed either across the adjoining fields or along the peaceful country lanes.

In each cottage there are maps with phone numbers showing where eight local pub/restaurants are situated, also sample menus and a second list of seven more recommended restaurants which are slightly further afield. Also information to help you find locally produced foods, farm shops and farmers markets.

A variety of tourist/local information, Angela's suggested day trips out in the area! directions to local supermarkets and tourist information centres are on hand in each property, plus a complimentary bottle of locally produced JUS apple juice if staying for a week or more.

Barn House and Owls Nest are two very comfortable three bed roomed cottages up a private drive, popular with couples and families alike.  Each cottage has its own private enclosed garden, garden furniture, barbeques and views of open countryside.  The cottages are identical having:

  • Sleeping from 2-6 persons in each cottage.
  • 3 bedrooms in each. One double bedded room, one twin room and one single room with an extra fold-out bed if needed.
  • New bathrooms, with toilets, washbasins & baths with overhead power showers. The cottages also have the added convenience of an extra toilet and washbasin downstairs.
  • Modern kitchens, new carpets throughout both cottages in January 2010, comfortable sitting rooms with televisions, DVD players and radio/CD players, plus separate dining rooms with laminate flooring.

The holiday cottages have gas central heating, fridges, electric cookers, washing machines, microwaves, irons and ironing boards. Garden furniture and barbecues supplied.
